Have you ever heard about this beautiful region . I'm sure not . This region is located in Ramban district in chenab valley . Pogal paristan is situated about 35 km's far from district headquarters Ramban and 155 km's from Jammu

 Pogal and Paristan are two streams and they together give theirs name to this region. The word "Pogal" is derived from two words 'poh' which is a month between december and January in Hindu calendar amd 'gul' means flowers and "Paristan" derived from word 'pari' (fairy) it meant the Land of Fairies and it is more beautiful than you can imagine . The language spoken here is called 'Pogali' which is considered closed to kashmiri . Pogal paristan shares its boundaries with District Anantnag in north and district Doda in east.

How to reach : Take a direct bus from. Jammu city to Pogal Paristan to reach tehsil headquarters (Ukhral Pogal Paristan)

 From ukhral the road further leads into four branches which connects Pogal , Paristan , Alinbass and Bhingara
